Maintaining the
Monarq Advisors Website
Tips & Steps for Adding Pages
Add pages to the “Main Navigation” Section to allow your site visitors to view them directly from the Menu
If you don’t want the pages to be visible in the main menu, add them to the “Not Linked” section
make sure URL slugs are unique and super easy to write out
URLs, page titles & menu titles can be different - you can use this to your advantage for leveraging SEO, without cluttering your menu, or creating “hard to spell” URLs
Tips for
Creating Responsive
Page Sections
View this section in “Edit” mode. Notice how the outline boxes of each section do not overlap in Desktop or Mobile view?
Tips for keeping sections, and the text or image elements inside them, clean:
Within sections, keep element outline boxes separate. If you want to avoid text accidentally covering or hiding behind images between different screen sizes, make sure the outline boxes do not overlap. Also try to leave some margin between text and image elements whenever possible
Try to group information into separate sections
Use favorited sections. So you can copy them onto new pages and then edit them with different information.
Tips for Creating
Desktop & Mobile
Friendly Text
To maximally maintain the alignment and line breaks you create across most screen sizes:
break long titles into separate text boxes
check that the vertical alignment of separate text boxes looks good in desktop & mobile view
ensure text box borders do not overlap with image box borders
in mobile editing view, extend text box borders as far as possible to avoid awkward breaks

About Monarq Advisors Footer Sections
The footers on Monarq’s site are not footers!
They are stand-alone sections. Meaning if you edit the footer on one page, it will not automatically update on the other pages. So any sitewide changes will need to be applied manually, 1 by 1 on each page.
We did this to allow for different headers and CTAs on each page.
In the future, if the footers need to be uniform sitewide, you can:
make updates to one of the ‘false footer’ sections
favorite it.
“add site footer” (see below)
apply the favorited template
and delete all the ‘false footer’ sections on the individual site pages
